Two large compound eyes one on either side of their head and three smaller eyes which are called ocelli which is at the top of their heads. This is a #Honeybee fanning. #Honey #Bees #Fan for a few reasons. To cool the hive in the #Summer #Heat sometimes they collect #Water while some spray the water others fan at the entrance creating an air current that circulate cool air throughout the hive. Like an #Insect #A/C Sometimes fanning is used to send messages from their glands releasing pheromones. As displayed in the #Photo but #DidYouKnow a #Bee has hair on their eyes as well as their whole body? They have almost #3 #Million hairs on their tiny bodies. It has been discovered that the hair on their #eyes are spaced to hold #1 grain of #pollen. The legs which is also known as the pollen basket carries the most pollen and is #5 times as hairy. #OxxBeekeeping #IAmNature #TogetherLikeTheBees #WeAreNature get #HoneyTouched
